a & w
the rootbeer theme
custom hammered, sore thumbs a plenty.
alex and whitney's invite was a big project for me, it turned out fantastic.
it seems i can't find a couple i don't love working for.
this spring has been really busy here. my house is covered in paper, pins, envelopes, bottle caps
and my type writer needs new ink. But I have a bunch of work to show, and am settling in to summer.

jeremy & ana-cristina limpic
mr. & mrs. limpic are very good friends of mine, jeremy is a friend that you can rely on and his wife is a beauty, both are sweet and two of the most caring people i know. jeremy taught me most of what i know about design. i interned for him a few years ago at 805collective which resulted in many good times and a good friendship. so when he approached me to design his invite. i was smitten or something along those lines. in true jeremy style he wanted it in a week and he also wanted it bilingual. they were married at the flying caballos ranch in san luis obispo ca, winter decided to end early for the couple it was easily 70 degrees. its good to see friends happy and married. here are a few photos of the project
it comes with a website to
friends involved:

x.x.x (extended)
eric and toni
x.x.x
.wed yesterday.
such a fantastic couple. the amazing thing about this wedding biz is meeting people who appreciate the work you do and believe in you. i really feel blessed after this project. (not to mention that when i met them for the first time they force fed me with steak and beer.)
the concept came from a handshake. i met the couple, toni at first: we sat talked wedding as she tried to locate her husband to be... he finally arrived (a towering samoan man) i stood up to greet him.. at six foot i hardly reached his shoulder. he was smiling i gazed up intimidated and sheepish but once he grabbed ahold of my small hand and in doing so he softly spoke "i'am so glad to meet you." i felt welcome. which reminds me of my father who used to tell me stories of his samoan friends and there undying love and commitment to there family and friends. this said love radiates around this couple.
and then there is toni: my new mom, agent, support group and biggest fan. a firecracker of a women who had her wedding planned to the t. i'm happy to have made her happy! this couple has an interesting and intriguing dynamic. which made it easy to design for them.
the project included:
7 piece custom invitation
champagne labels
programs
thank you letters
check back accordingly: i have a lot of new goodies coming out soon!

the potters. round 2
married a few months back.
sam and anna potter
have become great friends and easy clients
the concept was something i've been excited to do for a couple of months... it was just waiting for the right couple... the maze represents life and our search for love and how its not always so cut and dry, we must search high and low for them.. the map paper further illustrates this.... the trail is lyrics from a lakes song called "latersss" all aspects of this mini poster brings the guest to sam and anna who wanted to illustrate there sought after love for one another.
congratulations
sam and anna
